As a proud Yeshiva high school, our aim is to instill within our students a passion for serious Torah learning, refined middot tovot, and love for Medinat Yisrael. To a YULA student, Torah is never archaic. It always has relevance, a sense of transcendent purpose, and serves as a guide and inspiration for the way we live our lives. Through learning Gemara, Halacha, Chumash, Navi, classical texts of Rishonim and Achronim, Israel education, and Jewish philosophy, our curriculum is built and taught with primacy and relevancy in mind.
YULA believes that the synthesis of Torah study, general studies, and co-curriculars is necessary to prepare our graduates for success in the 21st century and beyond. At YULA, an educational experience that isn’t excellent isn’t acceptable. The General Studies program at YULA is committed to providing students with a challenging and integrated college preparatory curriculum in the liberal arts, sciences, mathematics, and STEAM. Each academic department strives to create courses that challenge our students to think creatively and critically in order to maximize student intellectual and social growth.
At YULA, our third pillar is Character Development and we strive to help every student achieve this purpose with a variety of learning experiences and seminars. Our educational opportunities, programming and co-curricular enhancements are aimed at perfecting character development.
This programing reflects the success of being a YULA village. It includes idea sharing between all stakeholders at YULA to further enhance our students character growth and success.
